Siena Basketball Coach Mitch Buonaguro Speaks at Kiwanis Club of Schenectady -  8/18/2010

On Wednesday, August 18, the Schenectady Kiwanis Club was honored to welcome Mitch Buonaguro as our guest speaker.  Mitch Buonaguro was named Siena College's head men's basketball coach on April 8, 2010. He will begin his first season as the team's head coach starting with the 2010-11 season.

Schectady Kiwanis Continues its Annual 20-Week Cash Raffle - a $50 Winner Every Week! -  8/18/2010
This year’s 20-week raffle IS UNDERWAY!   Drawings will be held weekly; winning tickets are returned to the drawing. Tickets are still available: they are $20 each. In addition to the 20 weekly winners, a Grand Prize of $500 will be awarded on the 20th week (at our Holiday Party in December). Schenectady Kiwanis Foundation Donates $4K to Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital -  6/1/2010
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- On June 1, 2010, The Schenectady Kiwanis Foundation, Inc. presented a check for $4000 to Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Troy-based not-for-profit Northeast Health, for the purchase of a special hi-low bed for the Wright Center for Pediatric Care.

Schenectady Kiwanis Foundation members were on hand to present the check, which will benefit the purchase of the adjustable hi-low bed, which is specially designed to reduce the risk of falls and enable optimally

Get your book today by contacting the club Secretary Arnold Amell.  Proceeds from the sale of Entertainment Books go to the Club's Youth Services Grant Fund.
